  Great Britain. A Collection of Dassier's Monarchs Medals. Each medal Bronze. 41 mm. By Swiss medallist Jean Dassier, 1676-1763. This series was produced circa 1740's. The series represents each monarch beginning with William I, The Conqueror and continues through George II. A total of 36 medals housed in a fitted wooden box circa 1800. A nice collection. The medals grade Extremely Fine to Mint State.

Great Britain. Gigantic silver British tankard imbedded with coins! Hallmarked British silver "cup" inscribed on inside bottom of base that it contains 44 different coins; several hallmarks and head of Queen Victoria, also "JBH." The lid, which is not attached, features a standing lion holding the royal shield, as well as 8 Victorian coins, of the homeland and the possessions. On the cup itself are the balance of the coins, ranging from early Norman silver pennies through the ages. Each is identified by incuse lettering nearby. Included are ½ crowns of Charles I, Commonwealth, Cromwell, Charles II, James II, William & Mary, William III, Anne, George I, George II, George III, George IV, and William IV. A magnificent item weighing 4 pounds 10 ounces avoirdupois, and standing 16 inches tall. Base width is 5.75 inches. Handle width is approximately 14 inches. A fantastic and very beautiful, historic item for the "ultimate British numismatist"!
